As a marine biologist from Edinburgh with a love for coastal adventures, my family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Vrangfoss Sluse. the quiet, historical location provided a unique experience, allowing us to watch the fascinating operation of the locks – a highlight for both the kids and adults alike. One of the standout features for us was the restaurant on-site. We enjoyed a delightful dinner on the porch, immersed in the serene surroundings. the convenience of having this option for meals made our stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable. For families seeking a wholesome experience, Vrangfoss Sluse offers a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. We appreciated the family-friendly amenities and activities available, such as the entertaining Hotel Triplets show. It added a fun touch to our visit, creating lasting memories for us all. Though our stay was brief, it was certainly memorable. the location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions like Ulefoss and Lunde for a canal boat cruise, making it a great choice for a short family getaway.
